Job Description Flexo Press Operator Specialization: Flexo Press Operation Job Type: Full-Time Overview Symbiotic Services is on the lookout for a highly skilled Flexo Press Operator to join the team at one of our esteemed clients in the label printing industry. Our client, a renowned name in producing premium quality labels for the cosmetics, personal health care, beverage, food, and dietary supplements markets, operates across multiple plant locations, including California, Ohio, and Texas. We are in search of a candidate who not only brings top-notch flexo skills to the table but also embodies a proactive, teamwork-oriented, and detail-focused mindset. What You'll Do
  • Setup and Operation: Efficiently review job tickets, ensuring all materials like stock, inks, and dies are prepared and utilized correctly. You'll be responsible for setting up the flexo press, adjusting press settings to match paper sizes, and feeding paper through the press cylinders.
  • Quality and Maintenance: Conduct start-up checks, secure start approvals, and perform general maintenance on the press. Uphold the highest quality standards with minimal scrap and above-average productivity.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to the 6S guidelines in your work area, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Shift:
  • Second Shift, Monday to Friday
We're Looking For Someone With:
  • A strong foundation in flexographic color label press operation.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing setting related to label press operation.
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.).
  • The ability to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
