Check out nyketamine.com for more information on the personalized, private care delivered at 3 convenient locations in Manhattan, Melville and White Plains.Our Why:We believe that we can give those patients and their families hope, that things can be better.Location: Financial District - Manhattan Full-time - Will also cover Westchester and Long IslandThe Right Person:Willperform routine administrative and clinical tasks in support to physicians and patients who are seen, served, and treated at the facility.Role and Responsibilities Common duties include but are not limited to:
  • Welcoming and greeting all patients in person and by telephone
  • Collecting payments and offering financing options
  • Updating demographics and information in the EMR
  • Obtaining appropriate patient papwork as needed
  • Scheduling appopintments, transferring calls and taking messages as needed
  • Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized
  • Facilitates patient flow by notifying the providers of patient's arrival, being aware of delays and communicating with patients and clinical staff
  • Answering patient inquiries/questions as needed
  • Directing issues or potential issues to the designated administrator/provider
  • Rooms patients and assists in the back office as needed
  • Assists patients to their vehicle as needed
  • Stocks supplies as requested
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical assistant certification/diploma a plus
  • Must have relialble transportation to travel to Long Island and Westchester
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer literacy; typing skills, knowledge of EMRs, MS Word, MS Excel
  • Ability to work with individuals and groups from diverse populations; bilingual/bicultural preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to effectively manage time to meet deadlines
  • Maintain and support the mission and goals of the organization
