  • Provides administrative support and collaborates with staff providing direct care functions.
    • Responsible for scheduling appointments and answering office telephone lines in a busy clinic to assist physicians, therapists/extensive contact with clients and staff to coordinate appointments, supervision, and meetings with multiple staff members.
    • Greets and checks-in clients for appointments
    • Assists patients with questions and requests.
    • Triage crisis clients in person and phone.
    • Acts as liaison with doctors and other providers.
    • Collects client self-pay fees, co-pays and rent payments as program of location dictates.
    • Assists clients who have questions regarding available services. Refer clients to Triage Center or Open Access.
  • Maintains documentation and other methods of communication to maintain quality services.
    • Maintains therapist and providers' schedule.
    • Responsible for collecting and attaining completed paperwork and ensuring that forms are copied, scanned, mailed, and filed as appropriate.
    • Prepares miscellaneous correspondence for clinic staff.
    • Assists with tracking insurance authorization and preparation of forms as program or location dictates.
  • Verifies insurance for clients presenting for appointments as program or location dictates.
    • Additional Duties and Responsibilities
    • Maintains office in a neat and organized manner, completes filing, faxing, and copying requests, as needed.
    • Distributes daily mail.
    • Maintains petty cash for office.
    • Responsible for reconciling daily cash log.
  • Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.Experience: Previous experience in an office or customer service setting requiredLicensure/Certification/Registration: Valid driver's licenseWhy Join CHR? Award-Winning Workplace:
