**Job Title:** Floor Care Specialist

**Location:** Fairmont, MN

**Job Type:** Part-time/Temp to Hire

**Hours:** Tues & Fri 8pm - 11pm

**Pay:** $20/Hour

**Job Summary:** The Floor Care Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of various flooring surfaces in a commercial setting. This role includes performing routine cleaning, maintenance, and restorative tasks to ensure high standards of floor care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Clean and maintain different types of flooring, including carpets, hardwood, tile, and vinyl, using appropriate techniques and equipment.

2. Operate and maintain floor care equipment, such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.

3. Perform routine inspections of flooring surfaces to identify damage or maintenance needs.

4. Apply sealants, wax, or finishes as needed to protect and enhance floor surfaces.

5. Respond to spills or accidents promptly to prevent damage and ensure safety.

6. Keep accurate records of cleaning schedules, maintenance performed, and any repairs needed.

7. Collaborate with facility management to develop and implement floor care programs.

8. Complete and submit reports as required by supervisors or quality assurance teams.

**Qualifications:**

+ **Experience:**

+ Previous experience in floor care or janitorial services preferred.

+ Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, techniques, and equipment.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.

**Skills:**

+ Ability to work independently
