The JaniTech Projects Team is a group of hardworking and dependable individuals who have variety in their day-to-day work. A Floor Care Technician gets assigned to daily cleaning projects that span from new construction cleaning, to deep cleans and carpet/ hard floor care. Location: South Burlington, VT Shift: Monday-Friday OR Sun-Thursday Hours: 8:00AM-4:00PM OR 5:00PM-1:00AM Pay: $20/hr Floor Care Technician Responsibilities and Duties:
- Stripping and Waxing floors
- Carpet Extractions
- General Floorcare
- Interior and Exterior Glass Cleaning
- Post Construction Cleaning
- Ventilation and Duct Cleaning
- Dorm Turnovers
- Other projects, as needed
Floor Care Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous specialized janitorial cleaning experience, including floor care experience, preferred but not required.
- Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle.
- Successfully pass a Background Check and Motor Vehicle Report.
- Working knowledge of various cleaning methods.
- Flexible Schedule, able to work weekends as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Team Oriented.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. - We Use E-Verify.
Floor Care Technician Physical Requirements:
- Move or traverse through assigned work areas.
- Frequent reaching and lifting.
- Frequent bending, kneeling and squatting.
- Ability to handle a variety of cleaning materials/substances.
- Lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
