Floor Care Technician Responsibilities:
- Performs all daily and interim maintenance of floors in all resident, common, dining, entrance, and service areas according to established floor maintenance schedule.
- Responsible for overall presentation and cleanliness of floors on a daily basis and regular project work to be performed where needed.
- May assist in any housekeeping or maintenance related improvement projects throughout the scheduled work day.
Floor Care Technician Requirements:
- Must be dependable, kind, sympathetic, and respectful, and otherwise demonstrate good judgment concerning the rights of others.
- Specific physical characteristics and abilities are required to perform the work, such as agility, dexterity, and long periods of walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending, carrying, or lifting supplies and equipment weighting 50 pounds or more.
- Six (6) months of related work experience preferred.
- Experience in all phases of floor care preferred.
- Carpet care experience helpful.
- Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
