About the Role:As a Floor Care Technician in our Health Care Services industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our hospital floors. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all types of flooring, including carpet, tile, and hardwood. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring that our floors are always in top condition. You will work closely with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that our hospital floors are always safe and hygienic.Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in floor care or a related field
  • Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in floor care or a related field
  • Experience working in a hospital or other healthcare setting
  • Experience working with a variety of flooring materials
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Responsibilities:
  • Performing routine maintenance on all types of flooring, including carpet, tile, and hardwood
  • Identifying and repairing any damage to flooring, including cracks, chips, and stains
  • Operating and maintaining floor care equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums
  • Ensuring that all hospital floors are clean, safe, and free of debris
  • Working closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to coordinate cleaning and repair schedules
Skills:As a Floor Care Technician, you will use your knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques to maintain and repair all types of flooring in our hospital. You will need to be able to work independently and have a strong attention to detail to ensure that our floors are always in top condition. Additionally, you will work closely with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to coordinate cleaning and repair schedules. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be beneficial in this role, as you will need to interact with a variety of hospital staff and patients.
