Custodial Operations
Job Summary
Under general supervision, clean and maintain all carpeted and hard surfaces for the University and perform preventative maintenance on special floor equipment.
Responsibilities
* Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization
* Perform cleaning and maintenance of all flooring types (this includes stripping and waxing)
* Complete work assignments in a timely manner
* Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure
* Use and maintain equipment properly
* Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely
* Observe safety precautions at all times
* Reports safety hazards
* Notify proper authorities of emergency corrective needs
* Work in accordance with University policies, department procedures and state and federal regulations
* Follow all safety and other risk management policies in performance of work
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
* One (1) year of related work experience
Proposed Salary
$16.15 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a bi-weekly basis.
