Longleaf Neuro Medical Treatment Center (LNMTC) is a certified Medicare and Medicaid facility nursing home that provides a continuum of care to both adults with severe and persistent mental illness that also have long-term medical conditions requiring residential, medical and nursing care, and to adults with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's or other related dementia. LNMTC facilitates high quality skilled and intermediate nursing care throughout four Nursing Unit Floors and an Alzheimer's Unit that operates 24 hours seven days a week, with 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.   • Competencies Thorough knowledge of techniques involved in stripping and waxing floors,
  • including buffing, sweeping, mopping, and general floor care and maintenance.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and follow oral or written instructions.
Management Preferences At least 1 year experience with floor maintenance in a healthcare or other large facility or professional building. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand/walk continuously throughout 8 hour work day. Must be able to squat, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. continuously without assistance, up to 100 lbs. frequently without assistance, and up to 500 lbs. occasionally with assistance from other Staff. Must be able to push/pull up to 1,000 lbs. (on wheels) daily, without assistance, including transport carts and manual or electric pallet jack. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Education and/or experience in floor maintenance work that is directly related to the job and consistent with accepted practices of the trade equivalent to one year of experience in a commercial or institutional setting.
