Summary: Strips, scrubs, burnishes, and buffs; performs wet, dry and damp mopping of hard surface floors; lays floor finish to stripped and/or scrubbed hard surface floors. Formal Education Required: - High school diploma or equivalent Experience AND Training Required: - Experience in stripping and re-finishing floors Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: - Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity - Knowledge of good housekeeping practices - Ability to adjust to changes and be able to follow instructions, oral or written - Must be alert and have knowledge of all stripping and re-finishing equipment and proper use of supplies - Ability to get along with others Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled $15.61/hr - $19.20/hr The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
