Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital, located in Harrisonburg, VA, is hiring an Environmental Services Floor Technician - Full-time Day schedule

As anEnvironmental Services Floor Technicianwith Sentara, you will be working around patients in housekeeping.You will maintain facility floors in required condition. Perform a variety of housekeeping tasks in support of a safe, clean and attractive facility. May assist other Environmental Services Staff as required.

Talroo - Allied Health, cleaning, janitorial, custodial, floor

Job Summary

Responsible for maintenance of floors. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, various equipment and cleaning applications to include: mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping and polishing. Cross trained to EST I competencies in order to provide cleaning duties when necessary. 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School Education.

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience in lieu of High School Education, Environmental Associate, Healthcare/Hospitality
