Bachmans was founded in 1885 and remains a family-owned business, with fifth-generation Bachman family members leading the company today. Bachmans operates six full-service Floral, Gift & Garden Centers throughout the Twin Cities, a shop in the Galleria, a Hardscapes Center in Farmington, and 28 floral departments within Lunds & Byerlys grocery stores. Additionally, Bachmans operates indoor and outdoor landscaping divisions, a weddings and special events department, a wholesale nursery division, seven acres of greenhouses, and a 670-acre growing range in Lakeville, Minn., which produces many of the plants, flowers, and landscaping products sold by Bachmans today.

Job Duties:

* Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers in friendly, timely and enthusiastic manner.

* Assist customers with questions, future orders and check out in person and over the phone.

* Process store transactions according to established procedures including returns for customers and transfers.

* Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions and discounts.

* Assist with carryout and cart retrieval.

* Keep your area clean and presentable

* Answer customer questions and help them with their needs

* Water and care for the plants and flowers, cleaning, stocking and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Ability to stand the entire shift.

* Good customer service skills, people friendly, responsible and dependable required.

* Ability to read, write, calculate basic math and perform basic computer skills is a must.

* High energy level.

* Able to work in a team environment.

* Demonstrated ability to follow through on work direction.

* Past register experience - preferred.

* Must be able to lift 50lbs. with frequent bending.

Schedule:

* Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays)

* Amount of hours fluctuates depending on season and store needs.
