Job Description:

We have a current opportunity for a Flow Assurance Engineer on a temp to perm basis The position will be based in Houston with a 4/10 schedule in the office near Westchase. Experience: 3-5 years minimum 7-8 years maximumKey Responsibilities Deliver process engineering services that meet our client, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.* Perform flow assurance engineering services such as:o Steady state and transient multiphase flow simulations, heat transfer and flash calculations on PC- based software packages (with emphasis on using OLGA & PVTsim).o Hydrocarbon fluid characterization.o Analyze results of the simulations and recommend optimum hydraulic operating conditions.o Identify and report changes to project scope.o Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports* Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in flow assurance engineering.* Communicate effectively with the engineering team and project stakeholders, including Customers.* Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.Qualifications:* Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field* 2+ years of relevant industry experience* Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to our client and its customers.* Good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of process engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.* Strong fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and mass transfer knowledge* Good working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.* Engineering experience in the same or similar industry and developing leadership skills.* Experience developing machine learning algorithms and data analysis tools.* Familiar with CCUS and CO2 transportation modeling concepts
