The incumbent in this function is responsible for providing administrative support to the Administration Team, Area Director and the Equipment and Material Science group, including office and Lab employees that consist of Scientists, Engineers, and Principal Research Scientists. Responsibilities include preparing and distributing routine reports, meeting planning and coordination. Managing updates to Area Org Chart, Maintaining Maintenance and Software Budget and supporting employee projects and data management in our mytime and workflow systems. This role will also assist in the onboarding for new hires in the team and be a backup for reception coverage. Skills & Abilities: Ability to operate independently Excellent planning and organization skills, including a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities. Proven skills in communication, problem-solving, and decision-making. Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills. Ability to anticipate needs of managers and their teams based on relevant business and/or industry areas of focus. Knowledge of office equipment High School Diploma and equivalent work experience. Some college preferred 2-5+ years of administrative experience supporting a work group or manager. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
