The FMS Analyst:Supports the efforts and actions of the Case Manager/Program Managers/Team Lead for various Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. With other members of the Security Cooperation team, and under direction of the Case Manager/Program Manager/Team Lead, assists the Case Manager in analyzing and managing all aspects of FMS casework in accordance with the Arms Export Control Act, the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) as well as applicable DoD Acquisition policy guidance. Responsibilities:
- Support the customer's FMS case
- Ability to travel for domestic and international meetings and work in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of FMS policies and procedures and demonstrated ability to apply that knowledge to help inform case execution
- Ability to track, status and update program action items and risks
- Ability to develop customer driven milestone charts and actively participate in integrated master schedule development
- Ability to assist with the development of customer solutions to unique requirements
- Assist in the development of technical and financial responses to requests for P&A data, letters of request, and case modifications and amendments
- Work within a multi-disciplinary IPT and coordinate with program analysts, financial/budgetary managers, engineers, and logisticians to promptly address customer requests and prepare program briefs
Education Requirement:
- BA/BS degree in Program Management, Technical, or Business analysis discipline. Six additional years of work experience is an allowable substitution for non-degreed candidates or an AA and four additional years of experience.
Experience Requirement:
- 0 - 3 years of experience and performs all functional duties independently.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. The salary range for this position is $38,958.40 to $67.634.18 (annualized USD).
