We are looking for a motivated Shift Leader for Ramen Tatsu-Ya to oversee daily operations during designated shifts, supervise employees, and ensure that our customers receive outstanding service. This is a tipped position plus the hourly wage.
Job Duties:
- Manage the training of the front of house staff members to meet the specific needs of the restaurant
- Supervise upkeep of guest areas by directing staff to attend to messes or accidents, as well as personally assisting in cleanup
- Ability to direct staff to handle unexpected situations and customer concerns throughout a shift as needed
- Delegating tasks
- Handling closing cash duties
- Reporting any issues to the General Manager

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be 18+ years of age to work at a Tatsu-Ya location
- A Lead should be able to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems
- Toast knowledge is preferred but not required
Experience:
- Previous experience as a server or lead preferred
- Must successfully complete state required certifications
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
