The Baccarat Hotel is seeking a passionate and Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to join our Food and Beverage team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong hospitality background, exceptional leadership skills, and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.. Previous experience working in a union environment is preferred.
Qualifications:Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and train a skilled team of food service and beverage professionals to ensure exceptional service quality and guest satisfaction.
2. Operational Excellence: Manage and streamline daily operations of all F&B outlets, including fine dining restaurants, bars, room service, to meet and exceed quality and revenue targets.
3. Guest Experience: Maintain high standards for guest satisfaction by monitoring and enhancing service delivery, menu quality, and ambiance in collaboration with other department heads.
4. Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue through effective pricing, promotions, and sales strategies.
5. Labor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with employees and ensure compliance with union agreements, labor laws, and policies.
6. Inventory Control: Oversee procurement, inventory management, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective sourcing of high-quality products.
7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to food and beverage operations, including health and safety standards.
8. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development programs for staff to ensure high levels of service quality and professionalism.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel departments, such as the kitchen, sales, and marketing, to create and implement strategies that enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager in a luxury hotel or upscale dining establishment preferred
- Strong union experience with a deep understanding of union regulations and agreements.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen for budget management and revenue optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
