About the Role
The F&B Manager is responsible for leading and managing the front-of-house team to ensure the delivery of AAA Four Diamond-level service. The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of various Asian cuisines/cultures, and understanding of their unique culinary traditions. Key responsibilities include overseeing the performance and coordination of all team members, ensuring seamless operations. This role demands strong leadership, creativity, an eye for detail, and a passion for providing guests with an outstanding dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet consistency and guest satisfaction standards, while upholding the resorts Unsurpassed Service and AAA Four Diamond service expectations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu and assist guests with selections, accommodate special requests, and interact with them to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
- Work with the marketing team to develop strategies that attract new guests, retain current ones, and implement pricing strategies and promotions to increase sales and customer loyalty.
- Manage restaurant expenses, including food, beverage, labor, and supply costs, analyze sales reports and P&Ls to identify opportunities for growth, and lead forecasting and cost controls to meet financial goals.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older and have High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience managing Asian cuisine (Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or other regional cuisines) in a restaurant setting.
- At least five (5) years of food and beverage service experience in a fast-paced, specialty restaurant, with a preference for Casual and Fine Dining service styles.
- A minimum of three (3) years as a restaurant General Manager or five (5) years as an Assistant General Manager with full P&L responsibility.
- Strong administrative skills, including experience with profit and loss statements, cost control, menu planning, budgeting, training, inventory control, and sanitation, along with knowledge of Asian food, wine, spirits, and beverages.
