COMPANY AND POSITION OVERVIEW
  • Major Broadway theatre owner-operator is seeking enthusiastic Food Assemblers to join our new food and beverage team. Our Food Assemblers perform the prep work needed for our meals and can involve chopping vegetables, preparing meats, dividing ingredients into the correct portions, or lining up plates, so they are ready to be filled. You will be joining a high-energy, detail focused team that plays a central role in keeping one of our five theatres (the St. James, the Al Hirschfeld, the August Wilson, the Eugene O'Neill, the Walter Kerr) and the attractions playing there running safely and smoothly. You will work inside a collaborative, respectful, and driven company that's focused on providing the best experience for theatregoers and theatre-makers on Broadway.
PEOPLE, PLACES, and THINGS
  • You will work at one of 5 ATG Entertainment venues on Broadway (St. James, Al Hirschfeld, August Wilson, Eugene O'Neill and the Walter Kerr) located in Times Square.
  • You will create new orders based on the needs of the Food and Beverage program built at your theatre, reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager for Broadway.
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
  • Experience in food handling preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 to 40lbs.
  • Ability to follow health and safety standards.
  • Ability to walk up and down flights of stairs and stand for the duration of a shift
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
