Alpine Lodge is at the base of Alpine Meadows Ski Resort a short 5 minute drive from Squaw Valley. Alpine Lodge recently underwent a remodel and is a fast-casual eatery catering to all guests visiting Alpine. Alpine Lodge also oversees the operations of our on-mountain Chalet, as well as three bars.

**Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:**

- Assist in managing a team of 10-25 employees. Assist in supervisory responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Comply with Federal and California Labor law in all phases of the payroll and employment process; from hiring through termination, as well as all Company policies & procedures.

- Enforce safety standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.

- Ensure customers and employees are treated courteously, safely and efficiently.

- Maintain clean and orderly food and beverage facilities at all times. Assure compliance with all health and food, CFRA regulations.

- Assist with menu planning. Manage inventory and stocking of food items.

- Issues written and oral instructions.

- Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.

- Perform or assist subordinates in performing duties.

**Competencies and Job Requirements:**

- Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally across all levels of the organization.

- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and interact with others.

- Working knowledge of computers including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and POS system.

- Able to lead and direct employees and serve customers under intense conditions.
