We are seeking a full-time bartender for a fast-paced full bar and craft beer brewery. One-year prior experience in this type of setting is preferred. Responsibilities:Greet guests as they enter the establishment.Work on the daily preparation of food.Take food and beverage orders from guests.Follow recipe and presentation specifications as determined by the restaurant.Ensure timely delivery and presentation of food and beverages to guests.Suggest additional menu items to compliment a guest's meal.Total guest check in a timely and accurate manner.Ability to serve alcoholic beverages responsibility.Ability to work effectively with all personality types.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Maintain safety and cleanliness of the workspace.Check and maintain cooler storage areas for quantity and quality of food.Ability to work in both the kitchen and bar area.Prepare all foods and garnishes for consumption.Ability to handle food safely.Restock items when necessary.Perform opening and closing duties.Serve guests in friendly manner and encourage repeat patronage.Restock drink station areas and condiments on tables throughout your shift and at the end of the night.Leaving the kitchen in functioning and clean order for the next shift.Perform all other duties as required.Requirements:High school Diploma or equivalent.Must be 21 years of ageSubject to drug screen within 90 days of employmentAbility to pass a background checkAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations correctly.Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays and day shifts.Ability to perform light physical tasks, exerting up to 25 lbs. of force on a frequent basis and up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis.Ability to perform such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, walking, sitting and carrying.Basic computer knowledge.Good verbal and written communication skills.Preferences:One-year bartending and/or craft brewery experience.R-Serve.One-year short order kitchen experience.Serve-Safe certification.Employee BenefitsBecause we seek out the best in you, TCBC provides a meaningful benefits package you can trust in.
