Overview Food & Beverage General ManagerThe Food & Beverage General Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of employees. Responsibilities
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
- Responsible for operation of the restaurant.
- Plans, develops and directs staffing and training of restaurant employees.
- Assists in the development of long term plans and budgets in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Directs selection, training and development of restaurant management staff and ensures that each has a clear understanding of the department service requirements.
- Keeps Director of Food and Beverage informed on a timely basis of any significant variance from normal operations or unanticipated occurrences.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ten (10) years in food and beverage area.
- At least five (5) years management experience in the area of food and beverage.
- Skills in budgeting and planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to obtain a valid Casino Employee Registrant License
