**WHOWE ARE**

Artisanal Brewing Ventures (ABV) is a top 10 regional craft alcohol company in the US, made up of 5 long standing, successful craft brands. Currently were made up of four breweries (Victory Brewing, Bold Rock, Sixpoint, Southern Tier Brewing) and one distillery (Southern Tier Distilling). We have locations in 5 states (NY, PA, OH, VA, NC) including taprooms, production facilities and our corporate headquarters.

**WHAT WE DO**

Southern Tier Distillery (STDC) was granted our NY State Farm Distillers License in 2015. Since that day we have been working to not just make one outstanding spirit, but numerous spirits coming from local farms to glass.

Word got out that Southern Tier had created a distillery and was selling spirits, so the orders came flowing in! To support our growth, we pride ourselves in adding dedicated team members experienced in guaranteeing the highest standards are met.

**WHAT YOULL DO**

At STDC the Distillery Production Manager is responsible for managing all production related activities at the distillery in Lakewood, NY. They are an important leader who is responsible for driving world class culture and managing a small but mighty team to accomplish challenging production goals. The Distillery Production Manager will own R&D for the distillery, works closely with both the brewery and shared services units of the organization and turn a wrench when necessary.

***Reports to:*** *STBC VP of Operations*

* Ensure all production activities at the distillery are performed safely, follow SOPs and in accordance with best practices

* Hire, train, and manage all operations employees at the distillery *approx. 3-5 team members currently*

* Collaborate with ABV shared services & local brewery team to manage demand planning, scheduling, procurement, production, inventory, ERP, compliance, and HR tasks

* Conduct R&D activities in consultation with Marketing Team

* Utilize knowledge of batching and packaging to ensure production goals are met

**WHO WERE LOOKING FOR**

* 3+ years as supervisor or manager in food and beverage production facility

* Action oriented leader with strong leadership & problem-solving ability

* Proven history of consistently achieving objectives despite obstacles and setbacks

* Strong communicator with direct reports, peers, and Senior management

* Collaborative individual able to partner across large organization, build rapport, gain trust & support

* Self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment

* **Physical Requirements ** Candidate should be able Frequently stand for the duration of the shift, walk, bend over, twist, kneel, climb, stoop, climb and crouch. Ability to lift up to 55 pounds routinely and repeatedly and occasionally maneuver up to 170 pounds. Identify product deficiencies (color, smell, taste). This requires having close, distance, color and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

* **Alcohol Responsibility ** The candidate must fully understand that they are a representative of not only the company, but of the alcohol beverage industry. They are to conduct themselves within the limits of the law and with concern to the education of responsible consumption at all times. This includes working hours, trade shows, festivals and while entertaining in the name of the company or its affiliates. Any poor reflection or legal matters that may arise due to poor judgment may be dealt with by means of disciplinary action up to and including termination
