Duties and Responsibilities:•Perform cooking process as designed and according to batch sheets.o Addition of ingredients, following heating and cooling steps)•Check and verify sauce thickness and temperatures according to batch sheet and cooking process.•Know and follow all Human and Food Safety requirements.•Perform kettle setup.•Communicate issues with kettles to Lead or Supervisor.o (Ingredient issues, vacuum issues, etc.)•Properly complete batch sheets, MCP checks and SSOPsHuman safety, Food safety and Paperwork requirements:•Complete other paperwork as requested•Follow all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP'S)•Follow all plant and area safety rules and regulations•Follow all plant rules and policesPhysical requirements:•Able to stand 8-10 hours per day•Able to bend or lift 8-10 hours per day•Able to do repetitive wrist motions/demonstrate good range of motion in wrists•Able to work overtime as required•Able to lift up to 25-35 lbs. frequently and 45-50 occasionally•Must be able to adhere to hot/ cold environmentsQualifications:•HS Diploma or equivalent•Understanding of food manufacturing GMP's•Ability to function well under pressure•Demonstrated proficiency in communication and documentation skills•Honest and job committed•Strong math and reading skills•Good problem-solving skills•Self-motivated, team playerBellisio Foods is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
