The Restaurant Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the Front of House operations. This role encompasses operational management, staff leadership, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the restaurant industry, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.1. Oversee Front of House Operations to ensure compliance with company standards and policies2. Train and mentor restaurant managers and key staff members to create a high performing team3. Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about menus and customer service standards4. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement5. Collaborate with General Manager to establish short-term and long-term business goals6. Assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by General ManagerOPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIESWork performed and composed of a variety of different tasks, calling for use of judgment and compliance with policies and procedures. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE1. Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager overseeing operations for a high-volume establishment generating annual revenues of $5 million2. Skilled in various aspects of restaurant operations, including food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, record keeping, and report preparation3. Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills4. Strong leadership, motivational and people skills5. Ability to organize and prioritize work6. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers7. Adaptable to a fast-paced environment8. Experience with restaurant management software9. Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays10. Must be ServSafe CertifiedWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:1. Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds2. Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency3. Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally4. Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on various terrains and uneven surfaces on an occasional basis5. Must be able to walk outside in variety of weather conditions to include rain, wind, heat, sleet, snow, extreme heat or cold6. Must be able to climb stairs, both indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions as necessary7. Must be able to listen to and analyze data audibly, responding to requests and providing guidance and direction8. Must be able to express oneself and effectively convey directions and clear instructions to a team of individuals9. Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
