Job Description:

We have openings for Food Assemblers in our Annandale Plant. The hours are Monday - Thursday 6AM - 4:30PM. OT on Fridays. Pay is $19/hr.E.A. Sween is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority/Female/Veteran/DisabilityResponsibilities and requirements:• Execute assigned food safety, quality and continuous improvement duties to support SQF requirements, regulatory requirements and customer's requirements.• Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP's).• Follow Policies and Procedures of E.A. Sween Co.• Assist in providing a friendly positive work environment.• All products are to be produced to recipe specification, using standard work as a guideline on how to perform each position on the line.• Make sure that all products are being produced to recipe/appearance specifications.• Before production runs must complete the sign off sheet verifying that all raw materials are according to the recipe.• Pulls rejected products off the discharge belt of the Multivac in a timely manner.• Be able to perform assigned rotation.• Properly place the meat or cheese on the sandwich following standard work.• Inspect raw materials for quality and communicate any deviations.• Notify maintenance immediately if problems arise with equipment.• Verify the material you are using is correct, sign off of recipe verification check off sheet.• Verify slicing equipment is set up to deliver correct quantity and appearance.• Assure all products are being produced to recipe specification.• All hires will need to successfully pass background check• Must be at least 18 years oldPhysical Demands and Environment:• Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push, pull• Must be able to work in cool conditions, 35- 45 degrees• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.• Must be able to reach over head• Must be able to be on feet majority of the day• Must be able to keep up with manufacturing speeds• Must be able to work with others• Must be able to handle repetitionBenefits:• Medical/Dental/Vision• 401K with Company Match• STD/LTD Plans• Life Insurance• Employee Managed Time (EMT)• Paid HolidaysEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
