Essential Job Duties:
- Primary responsibilities to slice and package cheese.
- Follow standard work methods and established safety procedures.
- Perform work as assigned by Production Manager
- Displays work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
- Maintains a clean, uncluttered, safe work area.
- Maintains a positive attitude and interpersonal interactions.
- Maintains consistent, regular attendance by adhering to company policy.
- Efficient with time and ability to work with and coordinate efforts with team members.
- Limited delivery driving responsibilities; must meet insurance driving requirements.
- Displays appropriate, professional, courteous work behavior.
- Available to work in all areas of production.
- Working conditions/Environment: Indoor warehouse
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned including but not limited to processing machinery clean up, cleaning work area and stocking product.
- Maintain all standards of excellence in the production facility in alignment with the quality of the food, cleanliness of facility and safety of team members to meet or exceed brand standards in every aspect.
ADA Requirements/Physical Standards:
- Exposure to moderate temperatures based upon areas of production facility and weather conditions. This is primarily an inside position, that will require exposure to walk in coolers.
- Ability to perform continuous tasks including, standing, walking, and bending, reaching/handling from the floor to overhead. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to ten (10) hours in length.
- Lifting approximately 10-30lbs continuously; 30-50lbs frequently; >50lbs occasionally
- Push/pull force up to 30-40lbs frequently
- Continuous use of both upper extremities in handling equipment and picking up goods
- Ability to maintain a high level of visual attention to detail and mental concentration for long periods of time.
- Ability to operate production equipment; including but not limited to pallet truck.
- Ability to safely work in an environment that includes wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally and listen attentively to employees & vendors.
