Summary
- The Food Server directly interacts with the public with good communication skills and providing outstanding service. This job creates a great experience for our guests by delivering prompt, friendly service, quality products and maintaining a clean and comfortabledining environment. The position requires menu knowledge, liquor and wine knowledge and following proper serving techniques. This is a physically demanding job that requires cleaning and resetting of tables, keeping station and side station clean while maintaining guest and company service standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner upon seating.
- Adheres to all Food & Beverage, as well as safety and health regulations.
- Use of proper cash handling procedures and ensuring all guests checks are generated and paid for. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area.
- Ensures customer satisfaction and effectively addresses any concerns or complaints, escalating to management as appropriate.
- Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of the company.
- Stays up to date on current menus, discounts and casino promotions.
- Ensures expedient service of food and beverages to the guest.
- Accurately rings all orders into the POS system.
- Monitors guests' needs on a continual basis, ensuring all requests will be promptly fulfilled.
- Assists other employees with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.
- Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment.
- Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment.

RequirementsQualifications/Education/Experience
- Must have and be able to maintain a valid Food Handler Certification and Responsible Beverage Server Certification as a pre-requisite to being extended a job offer.
- Must successfully pass Title 31 training within 90 days of employment.
- Highschool diploma or GED.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 6 months of previous experience as a food server.
- Knowledge of drink preparation, liquor, and wine knowledge.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
