Specific Job Functions:
* Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous food and beverage service to guests
* Greet guests within two (2) minutes of them being seated
* Check on guest within two (2) minutes of the food being delivered to the table.
* Follow specific service/ticket times and alert management immediately of any variations
* Serve alcoholic beverages to guests and verify age of any guest who looks under the age of 30
* Alert Management immediately if any guest appears to be intoxicated
* Thank guests for dining at restaurant
* Maintain cleanliness of restaurant including floors, tables, ledges, and counters
* Maintain familiarity with menu items and specials
* Follow uniform and appearance standards
* Maintain a working knowledge of special events, casino events and hotel promotions
* Ensure tables are properly set, side stations are clean, and side work is properly completed
* Pre-bus tables as guest's finish their dish
* Refill beverages as needed
* Reset tables with flatware and napkins
* Assist with initial guest complaints and inform manager on duty immediately
* Remain in control during high-volume situations.
* Maintain the ability to service a minimum of six tables
* Process all non-cash checks.
* Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
Qualifications:
* Minimum of one-year work experience in full-service dining room required
* Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms
* Must have an excellent upbeat attitude with the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds
* Pleasing personality and ability to communicate with customers
* Professional appearance and demeanor a must
* Must have a High School Diploma
* The ability to perform tasks that requires standing and/or moving at a fast pace for periods of up to eight hours or longer
* Must be available to work any shift.
