Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and student-centered Principal to lead our 6-12 school community. The Principal will oversee all aspects of school operations, instruction, and culture for both middle and high school levels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in educational leadership, a strong understanding of adolescent development, and a commitment to fostering academic excellence and personal growth for all students.Key Responsibilities:Instructional Leadership:Establish a clear vision for academic success and ensure alignment with district,state, and national standards.Lead the design and implementation of rigorous, engaging curriculum for grades 6-12.Support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction through coaching,professional development, and performance evaluations.Use data to monitor student progress, drive instructional decisions, and addressachievement gaps.School Culture and Climate:Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful school environment where all studentsand staff feel valued and supported.Promote high expectations for student behavior, academic achievement, andsocial responsibility.Build strong relationships with students, staff, families, and community members.Operational Management:1) Oversee the daily operations of the school, including facilities, budgeting,scheduling, and compliance with policies.2) Ensure the safety and security of the school environment by implementing andmonitoring emergency plans and safety protocols.3) Manage resources effectively to support instructional goals and school priorities.Staff Supervision and Development:1) Recruit, hire, and retain high-quality staff who are committed to the school'smission and values.2) Conduct regular observations and evaluations to provide actionable feedback toteachers and support staff.3) Encourage collaboration and teamwork among faculty to enhance professionallearning communities (PLCs).Family and Community Engagement:1) Establish and maintain strong communication with parents, guardians, andcommunity stakeholders.2) Actively involve families in the school community through events, meetings, andadvisory groups.3) Partner with local organizations to provide additional resources and opportunities for students.Strategic Planning:1) Develop and implement a comprehensive school improvement plan withmeasurable goals.2) Monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet the evolving needs of studentsand staff.3) Ensure equity and access for all students, including those with special needs andEnglish Language Learners.Qualifications:Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.Valid administrative certification/license required.A minimum of 5 years of classroom teaching experience and at least 3 years in aleadership role.Strong knowledge of secondary curriculum, assessment practices, and student support systems.Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a 6-12 model or combined secondary school setting.Expertise in fostering collaboration among grade-level teams and departments.Familiarity with restorative practices, equity-driven leadership, and culturally responsive teaching.Demonstrated success in leading both middle and high school environments.Compensation:Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, aligned with district administrative pay scales.Join Our Team:We are looking for a transformative leader ready to inspire and guide our 6-12 school community to achieve excellence.
