Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary food service environment. Work is performed under close supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Responsible for preparing documentation and reports related to the Florida Department of Health Child Care Food Program, etc.To view full job description, please click on the job title: Food Service Aide (Part-Time) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED; supplemented by some experience and/or training in preparing and serving meals; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment. In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully. Plans include: Accident; Cancer; Critical Care and Hospital Confinement Protection.Florida Retirement SystemParticipation in the Florida Retirement System (FRS) is mandatory for all eligible General employees. The FRS offers eligible employees an option between a Pension Plan and an Investment Plan.
