Responsibilities Food Service Associates are r esponsible to create a pleasant, quality meal experience for patients.
- Prepare and deliver meal trays to patients according to diet orders.
- Handles and prepares food in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Communicate with nursing and the cooks to provide accurate & quality meal service to patients & residents.
- Limited food preparation for caf and patients, including therapeutic diets.
- Answer department phone calls and respond to requests.
- Operate the cash register and dish machine.
- Assist with putting away freight & stocking of food in kitchenettes.
- Maintains cleanliness & sanitary standards.
- Participates in department communication and teamwork.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred
