Job descriptionJob Overview:We are seeking a skilled Food Service Director for our Skilled Nursing Facility in the Monsey area to oversee our dining operations and ensure exceptional food service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and food service, with expertise in catering, cash handling, and supervising staff. Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food production and presentation- Oversee catering services for events and special occasions- Conduct interviews and hire qualified kitchen and service staff- Implement and maintain standards for cleanliness, safety, and sanitation- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS Qualifications:- Proven experience in food service management within the hospitality or food industry- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team- Knowledge of catering practices and event planning- Proficiency in cash handling procedures and POS systems- Excellent organizational and communication skills Join our team as a Food Service Director to lead our dining services to new heights of excellence!Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:
