Job DescriptionIndrotec is currently hiring for the Minneapolis Public School food distribution team. As a distribution specialist you will pick and pack food delivery orders for the kitchens throughout the district. ***No nights, weekends or holiday work required***Qualified candidates will have the following skills and abilities
- Works independently, and assures that all safety rules, regulations and policies are followed
- Package frozen, refrigerated and dry goods according to kitchen supply order and established receiving guidelines
- Inspects and verifies accuracy and condition of orders prior to school delivery
- Strategically stages products to assure efficient delivery to production and distribution work areas.
- Maintains tidiness and cleanliness in designated areas.
- Demonstrates courteous and cooperative behavior
Requirements
- Previous distribution experience, preferably in a commercial food service setting preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Basic math skills required
- Physical ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
Schedule
- Currently 530am - 2pm
- Will move to 6am - 2:30pm later in the school year
