SUMMARY:Responsible for providing dining service within a fast food/snack bar establishment to all guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of customer services. Pearl River Resort Associates are required, on a continual basis to...Adhere to any and all company and departmental policies, practices and procedures.Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution. Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverages to Guests in accordance with venue standards.
  • Performs necessary tasks to service customers, i.e. taking and filling all food and drink orders and assisting in maintaining customers dining area in a clean and neat manner.
  • Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, soda, or teas.
  • Perform the day-to-day operations of the Food Court as assigned.
  • Service/prepare food & beverage orders in accordance with established service standards.
  • Responsible for receiving payment from Guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Complies with all health and safety standards/regulations as well as all applicable beverage, federal, state and local laws/ordinances.
  • Monitors customer needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests will be promptly fulfills.
  • Maintain a good working relationship and provide daily detailed communications with the Leaders and other co-workers in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of facilities/outlets and special and upcoming events on property, in order to advise customers of same, whenever possible.
  • Assists other restaurant personnel with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Previous money handling experience is preferred.TESTING:Must score at least 85% or better on a Basic Math test. Must take the required testing identified for this position.LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
