**Unit Description****Join a great team where residents are at the heart of everything we do!**Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a **Food Service Manager 2, Food,** for Williamsport Home, a retirement community located in **Williamsport, Pennsylvania** . The Food Service Manager will report to the General Manager and will oversee the skilled care dining operations serving approximately 120 residents. Typical shift will be 7:00am - 3:30pm, may vary with every other weekend coverage.**Sodexo offers a full array of benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401K and access to ongoing training and development programs, tuition reimbursement, plus health and wellness program.** **This position starts with 15 days paid vacation, 3 personal days and 8 holidays.**Are you the experienced Food Service Manager we're seeking?**We are looking for candidates who will:**+ have oversight of daily food service operations for skilled care residents (dining room service, tray service);+ deliver high quality food service;+ achieve company and client financial targets and goals;+ develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships;+ develop strategic plans;+ create a positive environment; and+ ensure Sodexo Standards are met.**The ideal candidate will have:**+ previous food service management experience;+ experience with ordering and inventory;+ strong leadership and management skills with a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;+ **knowledge of special diets is a plus** ;+ the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;+ the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and+ working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.**What We Offer**Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
