Job Description:Summary: Responsible for supporting the School Cafeteria Manager and providing assistance in the operation and functions of the cafeteria in compliance with mandated USDA and health department requirements.Responsibilities* Assist the Cafeteria Manager, as directed, to prepare and serve a daily menu.* Assists in preparation and serving of food in a quick and pleasant manner.* Assists in the daily set-up and breakdown of kitchen and service area.* Adheres to all sanitation and health codes governing personal appearance and food handling, including duties related to proper storage of food, and use of equipment and supplies* Assists in the receiving of food and supply deliveries.* Carries out cashiering and related duties.* Knowledge of and ability to order food items and supplies, etc.Start date: August 28, 2024Application Deadline: Open until filledInterested candidates please apply online at www.reg4.k12.ct.us (click on the employment link).
