Job Description:CROMWELL PUBLIC SCHOOLSCromwell, CTFOOD SERVICE WORKER - 4.5 hours per day/Part-timeCROMWELL HIGH SCHOOLClosing date: Open until filledCromwell Public Schools is looking for a Food Service Worker (4 hours per day, part-time) for Edna C. Stevens School. This position assists in the preparation of food for school lunch program as directed by the Cafeteria Cook/Manager; does related work as required and must be willing to fill in as needed in all areas, possibly in another school. Assists between lunches in variety of duties. Qualifications: Knowledge of safety and sanitary conditions which are necessary in the cafeteria; must be willing to participate in state sanitation course and become certified. Knowledge of cash register or willingness to learn, and ability to use calculator and process daily paperwork including daily production records, see job description for more information (lifting is required). Compensation: $17.91 per hour, 4 hours per day, sick time and personal time per MEIU contract.
