- Leads other staff in and operates ware washing equipment to maintain safe temperature requirements. Keeps daily records of temperature charts. Reports variances to Manager or Supervisor.
- Leads other staff in and organizes the operation and maintenance of ware washing equipment.
- Leads other staff in and performs all ware washing, sanitation, and cleaning techniques to meet department standards.
- Leads other staff in and verifies dishroom operation accuracy and follows all prescribed procedures, instructions and Department of Agriculture Food Safety Guidelines.
- Provides required services in a pleasant, helpful, and positive manner to demonstrate good customer service.
- Adheres to patients' privacy and Bill of Rights standards requirements while performing duties.
Minimum and Additional Requirements There are no minimum training and experience requirements for this class. Additional Comments The selected candidate must have physical ability to manually lift up to forty (40) lbs. Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, pull, push, climb stairs or stand for extended periods of time. May encounter temperatures ranging from 100 degrees F to 190 degrees F around equipment.
