We are looking for a Food Service Specialist/Kitchen Manager, which is a vital part of the ministry here at Camp Pinewood. The Food Service Specialist/Kitchen Manager will be responsible for all food preparation and sanitation of the kitchen and dining room, providing safe, quality, good-tasting food for the guests and campers at Camp Pinewood.
Food Service Specialist/Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
Manage volunteers/summer staff and be responsible for the following:Create new menus.Order all items needed for menus/meals.Cook all meals for guests.Kitchen clean-up and sanitation.Properly maintain all required documentation related to food services and sanitation.Dining room service.Housekeeping responsibilities at slower times of the year.Qualifications needed for the position:
Experience cooking for large groups in an industrial-style kitchen.Experience managing a food service operation.Experience managing/training/working with volunteers.Current Food Service Manager's license.Moral character: 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; 1 John 3:9; 1 Peter 1:13-16. Your Pastor's affirmation of your moral integrity and fitness for this position. Agreement to the Camp Pinewood “Statement of Faith.” Experience in serving at your church (leading, teaching, discipling).
