This role will sit in the Westchester location.Responsibilities:* Direct and supervise workers engaged in the preparation and service of food.* Assign and coordinate work assignments to promote efficiency of operations.* Conduct daily meal rounds; supervise serving of meals.* Inspects kitchen and dining areas to ensure regulatory standards are met.* Prepares work schedules and evaluates job performance of employees.* Interview, select, or hire new employees.* Implement and maintain an effective orientation and on the job training for all employees.* Organize and distribute daily catering functions.* Maintain safety and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with regulatory agency.Job Requirements:* Minimum of at least (2) years experience in the Food Service Supervisory position and/ or graduate of an approved 120 hour supervisory or Dietary Managerial Program.* Knowledgeable about health codes* Good communication and interpersonal Skills.* One year experience in Food Service or Food Prep in a health care setting* Previous geriatric experience preferred* Shifts are 7am- 3pm,11am-7pm, 3pm-7pm* Every other weekend offs
