Part Time Food Service Supervisor
Position Summary: Assist Food Service Director in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility. May be directed by the Administrator, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided daily and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. Furthermore, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of training and supervising dietary personnel.
Qualifications: Must possess, a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have completed a food safety course approved by New York State. (Ex. Servsafe)
Experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility a plus.
Must possess leadership qualities and the willingness to work harmoniously with/and supervise nonprofessional personnel
Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies and equipment, regular inspection of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties in the absence of the Director of Food Service.
