Job SummaryComments, ModifiedWith a patient centered culture, the Food Services Worker will provide a positive experience to patients, customers, and our community through preparation, service, and/or clean-up of meals including, but not limited to, simple food preparation, tray assembly, taking meal orders from patients, delivering patient trays to assigned rooms, cafeteria service and dishwashing. Performs within the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and hospital.EducationRequirementsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.ExperienceRequirementsPrevious customer service and/or food services experience preferred.Certifications/ LicensuresRequirementsMust obtain Temporary Food Handlers Card within first week of hire and Food Handlers Card issued by Monongalia County within 30 days of hire.Physical RequirementsRequirementMedium WorkExerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. forces constantly.
