The Food Service Employee is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the breakfast and lunch meal service which may include preparing breakfast and lunch items; setting up equipment and serving menu items for breakfast or lunch; taking down, cleaning and storing serving equipment; operating a dish machine and ensuring dishes are properly sanitized; serving as cashier during meal service and maintaining freezers, storerooms and refrigerators in an orderly manner. The successful candidate will have a significant amount of interaction with other kitchen staff and may interact with students, teachers, other building administrators and parents requiring the ability to work as a member of the central kitchen team and interact effectively with a wide variety of people.Shift Details* Work Year: 180 day work year calendar* Hours per day/Shift Times and locations: TBD* ContinuingRequired Qualifications* A Snohomish Health Department food workers card is required.Salary2024-2025 Food Service Salary Schedule: $23.91 per hour.
