Job Description - Food Service Worker - Geauga Medical Center - Weekends Only (24000C2I) Food Service Worker - Geauga Medical Center - Weekends Only - ( 24000C2I ) HoursPart Time 8hrsWill require training during the weekdays to start offA Brief OverviewThis position performs daily food service duties to meet customer and patient feeding deadlines, ensuring prompt, accurate, and polite service aligned with department and University Hospitals standards. Prioritizes the maintenance of a neat, clean, and sanitary work area, employing proper food safety procedures and efficiently using department equipment.What You Will DoPerforms daily food service related duties necessary to meet customer/patient feeding deadlines.Maintains a neat, clean and sanitary work area appropriate for food and service ware handling including mopping, sweeping and dishwashing.Uses department equipment in a safe, efficient and confident manner.Follows hospital and departmental policies and procedures including proper food safety procedures.Stays current with training requirements and safety in-services.Serves internal and external customer needs promptly, accurately and politely utilizing department and University Hospitals service standards.Ability to work in advanced skill areas such as diet office and/or cashier.Additional ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
