Food Service Worker Meansville Campus - Full-time
Minimum requirements: - At least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or GED and one or more years of full-time paid experience previously required to perform tasks assigned or successful completion of a formal training curriculum from a technical college or school pertaining to skills need to perform tasks assigned.
- Adequate training or experience to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to perform duties assigned.
- Physical health to perform tasks assigned, occasionally lift/carry parcels up to 50 pounds.
- Should be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Display the motivation and desire to learn and develop advanced skills.
Primary job responsibilities: - Ensure all meals meet USDA food standards and nutritional practices and are prepared and served on time.
- Accommodate dietary restrictions, food allergies, health issues, and religious or spiritual requirements.
- Provide varied meal options.
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and all storage areas.
- Procuring the food and cleaning items needed in the kitchen utilizing campus food rooms and food banks when possible.
- Maintain storage areas to comply with health dept, OSHA and state standards.
- Operate food preparation equipment following safety procedures.
- Participate in administrative staffing and other programmatic events or activities.
- Utilize personal safety plan for managing emotions and interactions with staff and clients.
- Prioritize projects/needs.
- Participate in PQI process for assigned program.
- Represent agency favorably at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
