**FOOD SERVICE WORKER**
**Title: Food Service Worker**
**Supervisor: Food Services Supervisor**
**Classification: Non-exempt**

* Seeks to grow in that relationship with Christ through personal spiritual discipline, education, accountability and service to his Kingdom.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare food for distribution in a timely and sanitary manner
* Must be able to accurately serve food and track distribution of food on itemized list (simultaneous)
* Serve food to students cheerfully
* Efficiently operate computerized cash register and effectively handle cash transactions
* Maintain cleanliness within work areas
* Communicate effectively and respectfully with students and faculty
* Mandatory use of hair nets when in the food services area
Other Expectations:
* Possess a positive, fun and outgoing attitude with students and staff
* Work well with others (be a team player)
* Act quickly and exercise independent, mature judgment
* Be faithful in attendance, arriving at or before the time scheduled by the Supervisor
* Participate in at least two pre-arranged meetings every 12 months
* Willingness to be flexible with work schedule when necessary
* Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
* Successfully pass Live Scan criminal background check prior to hire
* Obtain Food Handler's Certificate from Riverside County Department of Environmental Health (upon hiring). Obtain new Food Handlers Certificate every two years.
* Obtain certificate of negative result for TB screening prior to hire. Obtain new TB Clearance every two years.
* Prior food service experience a plus.
