On call position with approximate hours of 10 am to 1:30 pm, No work on holidays or the school summer break.Hourly pay rate: $16.00Minimum Qualifications:Statement of Duties:
- Performs tasks requiring an ordinary degree of skill in preparation and serving of food as well as other tasks required for the operation and sanitary maintenance of a food service facility or area
- Operates electrical equipment such as mixers, potato peelers, slicing machines, dishwashers, and toasters.
- Cleans tables and other kitchen equipment.
- Collects and washes dishes, silver and cooling utensils, and puts them away.
- Sweeps floor, cleans counters and tables and counter and kitchen equipment, such as food containers, trays, cooking ranges, garbage cans, and refrigerators of food and other supplies. •Stores foods properly in refrigerators and storeroom.
- Works as a member of a cafeteria staff team. Responsible for other general duties as assigned by the School Cafeteria Head Cook
- Bilingualism is a highly desired skill for a position, but not a requirement
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
- Must be a positive contributor as a team player
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal alien status.
