This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.
Responsibilities:
* Fair 2025: Farmer and Partner Feature - compile bios/farmer stories, as well as a schedule for promotion at the State Fair.
* Contribute to the Everything Local Conference planning, including outreach to generate potential speakers, assisting with speaker selection and working with conference organizers.
* Participate in the Urban Agriculture work, including the cohort of urban growers (monthly).
* Assist with electronic communications and social media around Food Systems & Specialty Crops.
Requirements:
* Excellent writing and organizational skills.
* Passion for food systems and/or experience in local food work.
Additional Information:
* This is a paid internship, available to current college students.
* To be eligible for an internship, candidates must be pursuing a degree for the duration of the internship.
* This internship is for summer 2025.
