Location: Sharon,MA, USA
Sharon Public Schools Nutrition Program seeks self-motivated, energetic staff to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen. This position follows policies and procedures for preparing, serving, and distributing food items and meals to students and staff. It is 15 hours per week and follows an academic calendar.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of food preparation.
* Knowledge of food service sanitation standards, including procedures to prevent contamination, spoilage, and waste and HACCP regulations.
* Ability to work cooperatively with others.
* Ability to do tasks with several steps and to follow an established sequence of tasks with minimal supervision.
* ServeSafe Certification training preferred
Primary Responsibilities include...
* Basic arithmetic skills.
* Basic computer skills.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, recipe instructions, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to
* Ability to communicate orally and in writing with students, department employees, school faculty, staff, and visitors.
* Demonstrate pleasant, customer-oriented, interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to use a Point of Sale system and register
* Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
* Perform a variety of tasks in a timely manner.
* You must be dependable.
Successful candidates will require CORI and SAFIS Fingerprinting Background check.
